What to expect:

The process:

  1. Contact Engineering Division early to discuss feasibility
  2. City Council adopts a resolution of intent to close the street
  3. Resolution published in newspaper once per week for 4 consecutive weeks
  4. Public hearing held — anyone may comment
  5. Council votes on final approval
